Invitation to Submit Papers for the 16th EASTS International Conference

The Eastern Asia Society for Transportation Studies (EASTS) invites you to participate in the 16th International Conference, to be held in Surakarta, Indonesia, from September 1 to 4, 2025. The theme for this year’s conference is “Harnessing Local Wisdom and Green Technology to Build a Sustainable Transport Sector in Eastern Asia.”
This is a unique opportunity to present your research, network with professionals, and contribute to meaningful discussions on the future of transportation in our region.

- Submission Deadlines (17:00 Bangkok Standard Time, UTC+07:00):
- Reviewed Papers: Full papers due by January 15, 2025.
- Non-Reviewed Papers: Abstracts due by March 19, 2025.
Accepted papers will be considered for publication in Asian Transport Studies (ATS), the Journal of the EASTS, or the Proceedings of the EASTS.
We encourage submissions in a variety of transportation-related topics, from economics and policy to emerging technologies and safety. For more details on the submission process and topic codes, please refer to the Call for Papers posted below.
