We greatly appreciate all the feedback received on the tentative program posted last week. Our team has worked hard to incorporate as many of your suggestions as possible. Still, given the large number of papers and requests, a few errors or unmet requests may remain. We sincerely apologize in advance and thank you for your kind understanding.

We would also like to warmly thank the EASTS Secretariat and the Indonesian Conference Organizing Committee for their dedication and tremendous efforts in preparing for the conference. Their support has been essential in bringing everything together.

We are pleased to share the tentative program for the EASTS 2025 Conference.

The listed session chairs are provisional and will be confirmed in the final program, which we plan to post next week (before the conference begins).

If you notice any errors (e.g., paper titles, authors, presenter assignments), please let us know as soon as possible so we can correct them.

Oral Session Guidance:
Please prepare a 12-minute presentation to allow time for Q&A and discussion.

Poster Session Guidance:

• Poster size: A1 (594 mm × 841 mm)
• Orientation: Portrait
• Template: No specific template required
• Preparation: Please print and bring your poster to the venue
• Mounting: Double-sided tape will be provided at the venue for attaching posters to the panels

Publication Requirement:
To be eligible for publication in the EASTS Proceedings or Journals, your paper must be registered for the conference and presented at the conference. Papers that are not presented will be excluded from publication.

However, if you complete your registration by July 31, you will remain eligible for the Early Bird Rate, even if payment has not yet been made by bank transfer. You will be able to make your payment later by credit card at the Early Bird Rate once the credit card payment option becomes available.

Congratulations again on the acceptance of your manuscript submitted for the EASTS 2025 Conference in Surakarta, Indonesia.

We would like to remind you that, in order for your paper to be eligible for inclusion in the Conference Proceedings or for potential publication in the Asian Transport Studies or the Journal of the Eastern Asia Society for Transportation Studies, it is required that at least one author registers for the conference and presents the paper at the conference.

If you are the author and intended presenter of a manuscript and have not already done so, please register as soon as possible at the following link:

Important: To be eligible as a presenter (and for inclusion in the Proceedings and potential journal publication), an author who will present the manuscript must register by the extended deadline: 23 July 2025. This is the final deadline extension for conference presentation registration.
