The 3nd Call for Papers of the 11th EASTS Conference in Cebu, Philippines on September 11-14, 2015, has been just released here. A new paper award “OCDI Takeuchi Yoshio Special Award”, sponsored by The Overseas Coastal Area Development Institute of Japan (OCDI), will be newly established from the coming Cebu Conference.

Notification for paper submission

Our paper submission site will be opened soon.
Since the site requires your “username” and “password”, please carefully read the following instructions before your submission. Paper format has already released in the last post.

a) To those who submitted a paper to the 10th EASTS in Taipei:
In order to avoid a user-ID duplication for paper submission, you will be sent an e-mail including your “user name” and “password” required by the paper submission site by December 24. Due to a setting for your mail filtering, the mail may be dropped in junk mail box. Please check your mailbox carefully. If you fail to receive the mail, please contact us as soon as possible.
NOTE: Please do not register user-ID as a new user. Thank you for your cooperation.

b) To those who did not submit any paper to the 10th EASTS in Taipei:
Please register yourself as a first-time user from “Register now”, and follow the instructions.

Call for Papers of the 11th EASTS Conference

Call for papers of the 11th EASTS Conference in Cebu on September 11 – 14 , 2015, is now available! You can download it from here. The theme of this conference is “Resilient and Inclusive Transportation Systems through Smarter Mobility”. In the 11th EASTS, paper reviewing process is slightly changed. Please be careful for the differences shown below:

Reviewed Papers: Academic or practical papers are peer-reviewed for the publication in the Asian Transport Studies (ATS) journal, the EASTS Journal, or the EASTS Proceedings. From this conference, papers selected for the ATS journal (Issues 1 & 2) and EASTS Journal will be published in the same year.

Non-Reviewed Papers: The papers (just one-page abstracts) are briefly reviewed for an acceptance to be presented. The accepted papers will be included in the CD-ROM in the conference material. These papers are not selected into EASTS Proceedings, EASTS Journal, or ATS, but financial support for some of these papers is still available.

ATS: The 3rd and 4th Issues of the ATS journal will accept papers from general authors, just like other journals. Special issues may be prioritized. Call for special issues of ATS have been just announced here.

The notification of acceptance of revised papers for EASTS Journal and ATS Journal

According to the call for paper, the notification of acceptance of revised papers for EASTS Journal and ATS Journal intended to be announced by the end of September. Now ISC is announcing corresponding author individually as soon as each re-review work is completed.

This notification will be announced to only the corresponding author which was nominated Category B at first review.
