Mongolian Transport Research Society (MTRS) founded in this January was approved to be a member domestic society by the Board as the 15th domestic society of EASTS on 11th of August, 2008.
Board Meeting of this year was invited by Malaysian society. It was held on August 11, 2008 at the meeting room of Hotel Puteri Pan Pacific, Johor Bahru, Malaysia. 31 participants including 18 board of directors had discussed various items for more than six hours.
