Mongolian Transport Research Society (MTRS) was established on January 18th, 2008. Chairperson is current Minister of Road, Transport and Tourism, Mongolia and they have 30 regular members and
45 student members. They are preparing to join the EASTS. If they are approved as a member society of the EASTS on next EASTS board meeting at Johor Bahru, Malaysia, the EASTS will welcome the MTRS as the 15th domestic society.
