Announcement of the EASTS financial support for paper presenters at the EASTS 2021 Conference
Released on June 24, 2021.
Eligibility
(1) Applicants must submit a paper to “Reviewed Paper” track in EASTS conference 2021. Note that the presenters of “Non-reviewed Paper” are NOT eligible for financial support.
(2) Applicants must submit an “Application Form for Financial Support in EASTS 2021 Conference” by the deadline and be either a regular member or a student member of EASTS in the following countries at the time of application: Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam.
(3) Neither a regular member nor a student member of EASTS from the country where the conference will be held.
(4) Students and employees in Japan are NOT eligible for financial support.
Note: If the applicant plans to present the achievements/results acquired during her/his study in Japan, she/he must consult with her/his supervisor at the time regardless of her/his current whereabouts.
Selection criteria
EASTS secretariat office will select up to 10 applicants from each domestic society for the financial support based on the evaluation score of the application form. If multiple applicants have the same evaluation score, the priority will be given to the younger applicants.

Registration fee (Only early-bird registration fee is provided)
Please note that the applicants must pay the registration fee by themselves first at the registration website. Then, above fee will be refunded by “PayPal” service after confirming the presentation at the conference. Please sign up to PayPal by yourself. EASTS will also refund part of charges by PayPal use.
