Dear EASTS members,
A couple of weeks ago, we (Conference Committee, Local Organizing Committee of EASTS
2009 Conference, International
Science Committee and Secretariat Office) have faced a difficulty of holding Surabaya Conference during 19 to 22 on October.
Because it was came out that the 20th October 2009 will be conflicting with the date of the inauguration/convocation of the newly elected Indonesian President. It means many Indonesian participants could not attend EASTS Conference.
We have discussed and sought the second best period in conjunction with EASTS Domestic Societies. As a result, we decide to change the date of Surabaya Conference as follows:

November 16-19, 2009.

We sincerely request you would understand the situation and change your schedule to the above date.
