Re-extension of abstract submission of TLOG 2012 conference

We, T-LOG committee (as the part of EASTS IRG17) would like to announce that the deadline of abstract submission for academic paper is extended until Feb. 29, because the number of abstracts submitted was smaller than past conferences. We will appreciate your submission very much. Please note that deadline of full paper submission will not be changed (Apr. 30).

------Call for Paper--------------
The 4th International Conference on Transportation and Logistics (T-LOG 2012)

Date: August 23-25, 2012:
Place: Korea Maritime University Busan, Korea

Introduction
In the last three years, the environment surrounding international trade has changed drastically with the worldwide economic recession caused by the financial crisis. Furthermore, some other threats, such as piracy and terror attacks, have affected the international trade and transport. Under these situations, the importance of more advanced integrated transport and logistics system is increasing for the global economy. T-LOG 2012 will be a good opportunity for the professionals of transport and logistics to gather information and knowledge, address the problems related to transport and logistics system, and have further discussions to overcome these problems.

The first International Conference on Transportation Logistics, T-LOG2005, was held in Singapore, and the second conference, T-LOG 2007, was held in Shenzhen, P.R. China, with more than 100 academic papers presented and these conferences were very successful. The third T-LOG conference was held from 6 to 8 September 2010 in Fukuoka, Japan. The fourth T-LOG, T-LOG 2012, will be held from 23 to 25 August 2012 in Busan, Korea.

Objective
T-LOG is to provide a technical forum considering current problems, solutions and the future development of transportation logistics. Practitioners and academics will gather to present, discuss and exchange their knowledge and experience in fostering ideas. It will provide an excellent opportunity for transportation and logistics professionals to exchange technical information and learn from each other's successes and experiences. Technical tours around Port of Busan will be arranged to visit transport facilities and factories which have notable technologies related to logistics.
