Announcement of the EASTS's financial support for paper presenters

at the EASTS 2015 Conference

[Eligibility]

(1) Must be a presenter of either reviewed paper or non-reviewed paper in EASTS conference 2015.

Note: A presenter of a non-reviewed paper can be a candidate only if the applicants of reviewed papers are less than 10. (See “Allotment”.)

(2) Must submit a financial support application form by the deadline and be either a regular member or a student member of EASTS from the following countries at the time of submission of application; Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand and Vietnam.

(3) Neither a regular member nor a student member of EASTS from the country where the conference will be held

(4) Neither studying nor employed in Japan

Note: If the applicant plans to present the achievement/result acquired during studying in Japan, he/she must consult with his/her supervisor at that point regardless of his/her current whereabouts.

[Selection criteria]

The financial support will be granted to successful applicants based on the evaluation of both application and paper screening.

If the same evaluation score has been given to multiple applicants, the priority will be given to the younger applicant, who requires less travel expense from the same departure area.

[Note]

The intension of withdrawal after being notified as a grantee must be reported as soon as possible to EASTS secretariat. The withdrawal of the grant can be credited as the privilege to the next conference. However, the absence from conference without advance notification may lead to disadvantage for the future financial screening.

[Coverage]

-Airfare (fuel surcharge, airport tax, other fee included)

Must be most economical

-Registration fee (Early Bird)

-Accommodation fee (not exceeds $200 for an entire stay)

Above fees will be paid at the conference

[Allotment]

Reviewed Paper presenter up to 10 persons from each eligible countries.

　Note: If the applicants of reviewed papers are less than 10, non-reviewed paper presenters can be candidate for beneficiaries.
